OUR $1 PROMISE

Little wings. Lasting possibilities.

For every candle sold, Three Chickens on a Branch commits $1 to World Vision through its chicken gift option. We total our candle sales and make our donations monthly. This includes our website and market sales. If a candle is later refunded, its $1 commitment stays.

Our own chickens have given us companionship, laughter, and a reason to look more closely at the world. For a family facing hardship, chickens can also help provide food and income.

Why chickens?

World Vision describes how eggs add protein to meals, while growing flocks can support income or be shared with neighbors. A small beginning can reach beyond one household.

How our giving works

The $1 comes from us for each candle sold; it is not an extra checkout charge. We track our commitments separately from donations we have actually made. A candle purchase is a purchase from our independent business, not a direct donation to World Vision.

We select World Vision’s chicken gift option. World Vision explains that gifts support needs within the gift category, and animal gifts may also support related essentials such as farming assistance, water, or hunger relief. We do not promise that each candle buys a particular number of chickens.
